STATISTICAL REPORTS

Annual Operating Ratio Report - The association provides participating members with an Annual Operating Ratio Report prepared by an independent accounting firm. The composite report permits an evaluation of a company's operations for the year, in light of its operating practices and policies, and makes possible comparison of results with those similar sized companies and product lines.
Surveys - IHEA conducts on a regular basis special studies and surveys on Executive Compensation, General Employee Wages and Benefits, Engineering Salaries, Field Personnel Benefits for Domestic and Foreign Assignments, Annual Business Forecast, and other areas where there is an interest.

PEER MEETINGS

IHEA Policy Statement on Meetings
Annual Meeting - Members of the Association hold an annual meeting in March at a location selected by the Board of Directors to conduct association business and listen to reports on issues and matters affecting the industry. This three- or four-day conference of industry peers includes panel discussions and workshops, presentations by invited speakers and other planned events. - Annual Meeting Information


Fall Business Conference - This annual conference to be held in October brings together IHEA officers, directors, and representatives from member companies who serve on committees and other activities. TECHNICAL SEMINARS

Combustion Seminar - Members of the Combustion Division conduct a two-day seminar on Combustion Technology in the Fall. This important and useful seminar has been held every year since 1969. - Combustion Seminar Information


Safety Standards Seminar - IHEA's Safety Standards Committee each year sponsors a special two-day seminar on the NFPA Series 86 Safety Standards for Furnaces and Ovens. Learn from the experts in the field of industrial safety. Gain a better understanding of the NFPA safety standards. The seminar is held in May. - Safety Standards Seminar Information

Infrared Seminar - The IRED division of IHEA conducts a one-day seminar on Infrared Heating Processes.  This seminar reviews the basics of IR including what it is, how it is produced and its characteristics.  It also reviews all equipment sources of infrared and there is discussion of the wide variety of IR applications, showcasing the many ways in which IR can be utilized in today's industrial environment. - Infrared Seminar Information

DIRECTORY OF THE IHEA INDUSTRIAL HEATING EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS

The Association publishes annually a Directory of IHEA Industrial Heating Equipment Manufacturers. Information about each member company is contained in the publication, including types of equipment manufactured. The directory serves as a valuable source for users interested in contacting suppliers. It is distributed to some 2,500 users of industrial heating equipment. It is also available from the IHEA office upon request.

INTERNET

Association members are listed and linked on the IHEA Internet Website allowing worldwide exposure to their company and products. The IHEA site serves as a principal source for interested buyers of industrial heating equipment as well as a source to search for industry information.


NEWS & ANNOUCEMENTS

IHEA Newsletter - The Association publishes an internal newsletter for members providing current information about programs and activities, member announcements and other matters of interest. Two to three issues are published annually. IHEA Newsletters
Trade Opportunity Announcements - Notices received at the association office regarding domestic and foreign inquiries about equipment are disseminated to member companies.
Memoranda - Continual contact is made with the members during the year by memoranda, facsimiles, letters, and E-mail on routine and special matters.


GOVERNMENT RELATIONS

The location of the IHEA headquarters in the Washington D.C. area allows easy contact with U.S. Government Agencies including the Department of Commerce, Department of Energy, Environmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Census, Small Business Administration and others. The Association provides assistance to members in making contact with the agencies or seeking information on matters of interest to them.

IHEA LOGO

Member companies promote their relationship with the Association by using the IHEA logo in advertisements, proposals, correspondence and other ways. Affiliation with the industry association reflects a concern to be involved with the latest in technological advancements, safety, standards, energy and environmental issues, legislation and other matters that affect user industries.

SEMINAR PARTICIPATION

Representatives from member companies serve as the faculty members of the seminars sponsored by IHEA. This involvement creates a bond between the suppliers and users providing a better understanding of the concerns, needs and technology interests.
