Application:  Gas fired infrared burners used in a Paper Coating drying application

Product:  Heavy paper and paperboard

Material:  Water based latex coatings on paper

Solutions/Benefits:  Gas infrared burners are especially well-suited to the rapid drying of paper coatings.  2 rows of burners were added to an existing line and the line speed was able to increase to 450 ft/min from the previous 230 ft/min rate.
