IRED Applications

Application: Gas fired infrared burners used in textile pre-dryer

Product:  Variety of textiles

Material:  Woven textiles which have been dyed.

Solutions/Benefits: Infrared burners provide rapid and uniform drying.  The increased line speeds provided by infrared processing are a productivity benefit as well as an essential quality enhancement.  If drying is uneven, dye in the fabric will migrate toward drier areas.  Rapid, even drying minimizes dye migration to produce consistent dyed fabric.
