Buzzwords are everywhere today and anything “green” is one of the biggest. That’s not why we’ve adopted “GOING GREEN” for the theme of our 79th Annual Meeting. It was chosen because there is a great deal of emphasis on energy efficiency and green technologies for our members. Our program begins with presentations from two end users of industrial process heading equipment to discuss how their companies are working to reduce energy consumption. Following their presentations, they will spend time in various committee meetings to help our committees understand how IHEA can work to assist our customers. Additional presentations throughout the week will focus on what does it mean to be green, a state of the union” regarding most recent and anticipated legislation, “rulings,” and other actions/activities of importance to our members and a closing presentation from the ever popular David Huether of NAM on the economic outlook.
