Welcome to the IRED. We are the Infrared Equipment Division (IRED) of the Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA). You may know us from our previous acronym "IREA", which was the Infrared Equipment Association. In early 2003, the IHEA and IREA recognized the mutual goals, benefits and synergies of the two associations, and agreed to consolidate. The IREA therefore became a new division of the IHEA, with the new letters of designation of IRED.

The IRED and all our members and divisions have a common mission to provide services to our members that will enhance our abilities to serve the end users in the industrial heat processing industry.
