Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Heat Treat Mechanical Engineer on a Contract to Direct opportunity with a leading industrial furnace manufacturer in Southwest Michigan.

In this position candidates will be designing heat treatment equipment according to customer specifications, supervising field installations, creating manufacturing drawings using AutoCad, creating BOM, and validating systems conformance and quality. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: B.S. Mechanical Engineering or at variations:  B.S. Manufacturing Engineer w/ an A.S. Mechanical Engineer  (Education is a MUST HAVE)

Specific Experience:
1)  1-3 years experience minimum of CUSTOMER MACHINE DESIGN
2)  Significant hands on experience - building machine from ground up
3)  Must have Manufacturing environmen t experience
4)  Needs AutoCad - latest version
5)  Heat Treat experience – preferred

Sandvik Materials Technology, located in Clarks Summit, PA, a leader in the manufacture of specialty steel products has an immediate opening within their Tubular Products Division for a Product Manager – High Temperature Products.


Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, Standardized Products, this position will be responsible for the technical and commercial aspects of Sandvik alloys for niche markets, with primary focus on high temperature applications.

 Successful candidates for this position will possess the following:

  • B.S. degree in a technical discipline – Engineering or Metallurgy is preferred
  • 3- 5 years experience, preferably in technical sales
  • Minimum 5 years experience working with stainless steels
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time both domestically and internationally
  • P.C. proficient in Microsoft Office including spreadsheets, databases, graphics, word processing, and use of internet
  • Ability to perform in a team-oriented, total quality environment
