Thursday, September 18, 2014
The IHEA Learning Academy is the place to come for on-line video training in the industrial process heating industry. There are a variety of educational presentations that run an average of 20 – 40 minutes in length. These are designed to provide information and an understanding of many industrial process heating technologies. IHEA has just added several training videos on combustion technologies.
Adapted from IHEA’s popular Combustion Seminar now in its 45th year, the new Learning Academy videos provide the training and education needed for all those responsible for the operation, design, selection and/or maintenance of fuel-fired industrial process furnaces and ovens. There are thirteen topics available including: Fundamentals of Combustion, Furnace and Process Controls, Optimizing Combustion Systems Performance, Practical Fluid Flow and Piping Practices, Premix and Nozzle Mix Burners, The Basics of IR, IR Applications, Flame Safety and Sequence Control, Enhanced Combustion Efficiency, Combustion Systems and then Environment, Combustion Troubleshooting, and Heat Applications for Low and High Temperatures.
Combustion training videos can be rented individually for $75 for IHEA members or $100 non-members. Videos are available for viewing for 30 days after rental. The individual videos are also available as a Combustion training collection for a discounted price. IHEA Members can rent the complete 13 video collection for only $810. Non-member price is $960.
