Dr. Girish Dahake, Ambrell
Dr. Girish Dahake is a world-renowned induction heating specialist with 20 years of application experience solving thousands of sophisticated production heating problems.  Having applied a wide range of induction products, he is an expert in the research, design and prototyping of complex heating coils.  He has a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Rochester.

Tom Elson, Ajax Tocco

Tom Elson has been in the process heating industry since his graduation from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1974. Initially working as a project engineer and later a production engineer for Union Carbide Metals, in Ashtabula, Ohio where he was responsible for the startup and operation of a 60 MW submerged arc furnace for the production of ferroalloys. Later, he entered the induction/heating industry in 1980 as a sales representative for Pillar induction. He has remained in the industry ever since acting as a sales representative or sales manager for Tocco, Ajax Magnethermic, and for the last thirteen years Ajax Tocco Magnethermic.

Charlie Fink, Inductotherm
In 1963 Charlie started at Inductotherm Corp and has has held various positions within Inductotherm including:  manufacturing of furnaces & power supplies; field servicing; installing & maintaining induction melting and heating equipment; sales; district manager; Vice President of Sales North America and is currently the Vice President Customer Relations and Training.  Charlie is a member of IPMI, AFS, AIST and many Foundry Group Chapters.  He is also a past member of the Inductotherm Corp. Board of Directors.  Charlie's vast experience includes work with all types and sizes of melt shops, steel mills, foundries, shot makes, precious metal refiner and companies that use induction heating equipment in their process.

Andrew Procopio, Inductotherm
Andrew Procpio joined Inductotherm's Long Products Division in 2005 in the capacity of National Sales Manager with the responsibility of sales and project coordination for the NAFTA region.  he was promoted to Director-Steel Mill Technologies with the responsibility of overseeing the Long Products Division's sales worldwide.  Prior to joining Inductotherm, Andrew worked for several steel industry engineering firms and has 40 years of direct steel industry experience including equipment commissioning, sales and project management.

Torsten Schaefer, SMS Elotherm

In 2007 Torsten joined Elotherm's Forge Division in the capacity of Project Manager Sales with the responsibility of induction heating technologies for forging application in Europe, Russia and the Americas.  In 2013 he was promoted to Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Service for Elotherm's US operations headquartered in Detroit, MI.  In this role he counsels customers in various industries about different induction applications and technologies such as heat treating, heating for forging and extrusion, tube heating and welding, quench & temper of tubes and bars, strip and slab heating, melting, etc. Torsten holds a joint master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration from Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. 

Mike Stowe, Advanced Energy

Mike is a Senior Energy Engineer on Advanced Energy's Energy Engineering team and focuses on process heating and energy efficiency in manufacturing plants. He has significant experience in the manufacturing industry serving in various roles as design engineer, production manager, plant engineer, and facilities engineer over the past 27 years. He has extensive experience with heat treating, induction hardening, brazing, die casting, plastic injection molding, machining, and all types of plant facility and infrastructure systems. Mike works with utilities, process heating equipment vendors, and manufacturing plants to find the best technical and energy efficient solutions for industrial processes. Mike has a B.S. of Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology attended U.S. Naval Nuclear Power School and Submarine Officer Training.
