IHEA Fall 2018 Seminars

Make plans to attend one of IHEA's Fall seminars.  IHEA will hold the Combustion Seminar, Safety Standards and Codes Seminar and Induction Seminar this October in conjunction with Furnaces North America (FNA) 2018 in Indianapolis.  In addition to the IHEA seminars, attendees will receive a complimentary registration to attend the FNA Expo. The schedule for IHEA's seminars are perfectly set up to allow attendees full access to the expo.

Combustion Seminar
October 8 - 10, 2018

Long the industry's premier seminar for industrial process heating professionals, this event offers attendees the chance to learn the latest in combustion technology.  The Combustion Seminar is designed for persons responsible for the operation, design, selection and/or maintenance of fuel-fired industrial process furnaces and ovens.  Seminar speakers are leaders in the combustion industry.  Presentation will be non-commercial and promote the technology overall, not a specific product or company.

Safety Standards Seminar
October 8 - 10, 2018

Explosions and fires in industrial heating systems can result in injury or loss of life, and loss of property and production. Understanding the proper use of National Standards governing the compliant design and operation of ovens & furnaces is essential for everyone involved with this type of equipment.

This seminar is designed for individuals involved in the design, manufacture, service or operation of ovens, furnaces, kilns, dryers, thermal oxidizers and a wide range of industrial applications. It is intended to help the attendee become better acquainted with the newly updated NFPA 86 - Standard for Ovens & Furnaces.

Induction Seminar

October 9, 2018

The IHEA Induction Seminar is a half day seminar which allows attendees to learn about the basics of induction technology and how the electrically powered induction technology can create heat in parts, up to and including melting metals. The seminar will also focus on the many possible applications for the induction technology in manufacturing processes. Speakers are IHEA members from induction company OEMs and leaders in the induction industry. If you are using induction and want to get an update on the latest and greatest, or if you are considering using induction for your operations, then this will be a great seminar for you and your team.

The seminar is being held at the Indiana Convention Center in Room 128, co-located with MTI's Furnaces North America.  There are rooms available at the Marriott Hotel Downtown and the Westin hotel which are next door to each other and right across the street from the Indiana Convention Center.  We do expect the room blocks to sell out, so please make your reservation early.  Cut-off date for reservations at both hotels is September 10, 2018, or until the block fills.
