In conjunction with the longstanding IHEA 44th
Annual Combustion Seminar, this year, IHEA will also offer their 1st
Annual Electrotechnology seminar. The goal is to deliver an
electrotechnology track of presentations as a complement to the existing and
ongoing Combustion Seminar. You will have the opportunity learn about:
- The state of the art for a variety of electrical
heating technologies for process heating equipment
- Improving energy intensity in process heating
systems with new and more efficient electrical heating technology
- Energy Efficiency for process heating and the
entire manufacturing plant
- Practical applications and Case Studies
The seminar will be divided into 2 tracks: Electrotechnologies for Drying, Curing & Finishing and Electrotechnologies for Processing Metals. Track One will include Infrared, Ultraviolet, Radio-Frequency, Microwave, Electron Beam, Plasma and Industrial Heat Pump topics. Track Two will include Heat Treating, Resistance Heating, Electric Arc Melting, Brazing, Induction Melting, Induction Hardening, Iso-Thermal Melting and Vacuum Carburizing topics. For both track there will be combined sessions covering: - Electrotechnolgy Overview
- Working with your Electrical Utility
- Instructor Q & A Panel Forum
- Industrial Energy Efficiency
Also, in conjunction with the Combustion Seminar, selected vendors will participate in an
evening tabletop exhibition and reception to showcase their technology and equipment. This Tabletop Exhibition & Reception allows attendees the opportunity to speak with company representatives and learn more about the products and services discussed in their classroom environment during the seminar. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere to network with other attendees and communicate with process heating equipment suppliers.
Who should attend? The Electrotechnologies Seminar is valuable for both Process Heating Equipment End-Users and Electro-Technology Equipment Vendors, as well as other Industrial Companies and Utilities. Those involved in Production Leadership, Plant Management, Production Engineering, Energy Managers, Plant/Facility Engineers, Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Technicians will find this beneficial to their jobs.
