ANSI (American National Standards Institute)
ISO (International Standards Organization) An IHEA representative acts as the U.S. delegate on behalf of ANSI to the ISO/TC 244 comm
ittee, which is a standards committee sponsored by ISO. The ISO/TC 244 standard covers heating equipment applications. The IHEA delegate makes proposals and votes on proposals to the standard on behalf and in the interests of the United
States.

NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) IHEA has a representative who is a voting member of the NFPA 86 Technical Committee. NFPA 86 is the standard for ovens and furnaces. The representative participates in task groups, and can bring forward and develop formal proposals and comments related to NFPA 86. Participation on the committee has been an effective means to bring about changes to NFPA 86 that are beneficial to IHEA members. |

CECOF (European Committee of Industrial Furnace & Heating Equipment Associations) CECOF incorporates the relevant European national associations of industrial furnace and heating equipment, representing all the major companies in this field. IHEA and CECOF work cooperative on issues important to the industrial heating equipment industry worldwide. CECOF and IHEA members participate in each others meetings and events. |

JIFMA (Japan Industrial Furnace Manufacturers Association) JIFMA engages in research, environmental protection, operational safety, promotion of energy efficiency, surveys and education to promote the development of the industrial furnace industry, which contributes to Japan's economy. IHEA and JIFMA work cooperatively on issues important to the industrial heating equipment industry worldwide. JIFMA and IHEA members participate in each others meetings and events. |

NAM (National Association of Manufacturers) NAM helps shape a legislative and regulatory environment conducive to U.S. economic growth and promotes increased understanding among policymakers, the media and the general public about the vital role of manufacturing in America's economic and national security. NAM offers IHEA members a discounted NAM membership rate, and provides resources and speaker to IHEA on important issues facing U.S. manufacturing. NAM keeps IHEA members up to date on everything from U.S. policy to economic factors impacting our industry
